Here’s an honest reply. Do I like this association with the Bushes? No. Does it mean that Cruz has sold out to “the establishment?” I don’t think so. Do I think “the establishment” will do everything they can, including backing the lesser of their two evils to stop Trump? Absolutely. Do I still think Cruz is the consistent conservative in the race? Yep. Do I think Trump will get inhialated in the general if he’s the nominee? Hell yes.

Noted. Now let me ask you something related. Namely, are you comfortable with a politician who lies with incredible sincerity and earnestness? I ask bc I had occasion earlier to repost what Cruz said about the Gang of Eight. When you read the comments, and realize that, according to Cruz, it was all lies, it might give an objective party pause.
