Noted. Now let me ask you something related. Namely, are you comfortable with a politician who lies with incredible sincerity and earnestness? I ask bc I had occasion earlier to repost what Cruz said about the Gang of Eight. When you read the comments, and realize that, according to Cruz, it was all lies, it might give an objective party pause.

I find it truly sad the behavior of people on this site when it comes to Trump v Cruz. We’re all supposed to be conservatives here and the real enemy is out there, but so many are so jacked-up about ‘their guy’ they’d rather go down with the ship then make a sensible choice.
It saddens me how many Americans have become apathetic about elections and what they can do to change the course our nation is on....but you could be right that they don't have "thick enough hides" to "duke it out". LOL
While there are several people here that just want to "bait, insult and run"....I've met several Trump supporters that I've had some good, informative debates with.
Cruz is still my guy......but at least I can look at Trump with different eyes when seen through a serious supporter who will discuss why they support him....and answer the questions I have about him. I've gone from "never supporting that Yankee"......to understanding I'll have to "re-enter" the election with "new" eyes towards Trump should Cruz drop out and he's still in.
Unfortunately, flame throwers can't seem to understand that they are doing nothing but ticking people off on a "personal level"....which damages the appeal of the candidate they are supporting. Sad business, if you ask me........
DALLAS (CBS11) – Conservative radio host Glenn Beck is under investigation after a comment he made on his radio show when talking about GOP front-runner Donald Trump. Beck says his comment was not directed towards the presidential candidate.
This appears to be a misunderstanding but the Secret Service tells CBS11 it’s aware of the comment and will conduct an appropriate follow-up investigation.
During his radio show Friday morning, Beck and his producers were talking about the other candidates saying they would support Donald Trump if he becomes the Republican nominee.
His producer mocked Beck after Beck mentioned being in the shoes of Trump’s rivals:
“Was it gigantic shoes?” asked the producer Stu Burguiere.
“If I was close enough and I had a knife. Really. I mean the stabbing just wouldn't’t stop,” Beck responded, appearing to direct his comments at Burguiere.
Burguiere said on Facebook, “It was reported that Glenn had threatened to stab a presidential candidate this morning which was odd since I was on the show with him and didn't’t notice anything like that… Of course, if you were listening, you know that Glenn actually threatened me, not Donald Trump, so I am in the odd situation of defending my boss for threatening my life.”
The reason the Secret Service said it’s doing a follow-up investigation is because they protect Trump.
Beck’s radio show is based out of Las Colinas and they did not respond to requests for comment Friday.
