Maybe, OKSooner. Maybe the GOPe has come to realize that, even though they can't "control" Cruz, at least they're both working off the same playbook. They definitely KNOW that is NOT the case with The Donald. Which is why both Cruz and the GOPe are targeting him for an early demise.

Just maybe....

This makes me ill. Don’t try to sell the “Cruz isn’t an establishment guy” stuff anymore.

The GOPe is determined to have a Bush involved...and Cruz has turned out to be a real sellout. What a shame.

Despite Cruz’s attacks on his party’s donor class and establishment, the Texas senator Ted Cruz^s GOP campaign has received $37 million from just four donors.

The Wilks family of Cisco, Texas, New York hedge fund tycoon Bob Mercer, Texas energy investor Toby Neugebauer and Illinois manufacturing moguls Dick and Liz Uihlein.

4 donors???? You might want to have another look. Here is the list from Opensecrets.org, they have 19 listed as major donors so far for Ted Cruz, including Goldman-Sachs:

Oh good grief. Stop the spin please ;) This just shows Cruz has been bought and paid for. Not a good thing.

Do you think Cruz wants a brokered convention? Do you think we Cruz supporters want Mitt involved in this? Come on get real.

Cruz is openly campaigning for the anti-Trump vote. Of course he wants Mittens and GOPe “involved” in this since they are leading the anti-Trump campaign. Who do you think are anti-Trump?

Civility lost out to trump some time ago. Now it’s internecine warfare after constant insults and unrelenting hyperbole, your reply no exception.

Rubio is dropping out after Florida. Cruz will have the GOPe anti-Trump lane all to himself.

I knew when W came out and claimed to not like cRuz we were being hoodwinked, real good, by the GOPee/Open Borders cabal.

I think Rush is doing the same sell on that. Constantly shouting that Cruz isn’t an insider...which Rush well knows just isn’t true. Rush is trying to make Cruz more desirable to all the voters fed up with Washington insiders.

Bush’s finance team and brother joining Cruz isn’t going to kill Cruz with the voters. They think their attack ads bought with dirty money...with dirty tactics...are all they need to stop Trump. I sure hope they fail.

This is a slap in the face to all of us who are sick of the establishment. This is nothing more than a sellout by Cruz. It can’t be spun any other way.

Trump has Sessions on his side. Cruz has the Bushes. Facts are funny things sometimes.

Extremely embarrassing typo. I meant to write “I am NOT saying this because I love the bushes.” That is what I get for composing messages on an iPhone

What is this?

The Howdy Doody show?

(yes I am showing my age)

A brokered Convention is managed by the people who Cruz has relentlessly attacked since he has been in the Senate.

So just how is it that this would benefit him.

What they are angling to do is to prevent Trump from getting the required number of delegates and that opens up a path for Rubio.....NOT CRUZ!.

Dummy...

Pearl clutchers may loosen their grip if they see it’s 2001 or 2000, it’s on the site “On the Issue”, just search for “on the issues trump” and that site will pop up.

His wife is director at the wealth management branch here in Houston.

What is wrong with that? Why is it ok to attack Cruz’s wife for her respectable career? Yet its not ok to even mention Melania Trump getting PAID to pose nude. And to pose in playboy. WHY the double standard?

Well, there is the whole CFR thingie and the North American Union stuff where Heidi is okay with an EU setup where our Supreme court can be overriden in an North American Community.

There's that.

Melania just posed nude. She didn't threaten our sovereignty.

THe only photo I know about was in GQ, I’ve seen it, it was a cover, and you couldn’t really “see” anything. I never heard she was in Playboy. Do you have a link?

And working for the CFR on the North American Community (ie “Union”) plans is hardly “respectable”.

CFR.... Hmmmmm

HC hasn’t been a member there for over 10 years.

Their president is one of Trump’s foreign policy advisors.

So there you go.
