I agree with you to an extent. The article is presenting the trees view. I am arguing the forest view.
Citizens need to get themselves up to speed with the federal governments constitutionally limited powers and start taking responsibility for the politicians that they send to DC.
True enough, and the internet has certainly assisted in that. Ultimately under that premise, in every case but one, we end up with the government we deserve. The one exception is to be governed by the God of grace, not as we deserve but as He provides from His boundless love through His Son the Atoner.
