The big question is:

Will Ted disavow Heidi???

Sure, because the EU is proving to be a real showcase for such thinking.

So far the media has treated Cruz like the golden child. That won’t last long. His free ride is about over.

This has been debunked. Do you have proof of any recommendations Heidi may have made? No. But if you think Cruz - who won in the Supreme Court the case that beat the UN, World Court and the Bush administration giving Texas BACK THE RIGHT to apply its own laws to foreign criminals or his wife are CFR go ahead on. You could seek proof instead of innuendo.

When I was working for a global Corp I got assigned to projects with which I disagreed. As an employee the best I could do was try to bring reasoned arguments to the discussion in order to have some influence on the project. The way I read Heidi’s statement is they allowed her to say something in defence of private investment as opposed to government management. I’m amazed she was able to manage that much input.

“You can take the termites out of the walls but the damage is still there.”

Same thing applies to Cruz’s wife.

This is from CFR and AIM sites. CFR knows its own self. AIM is not a discredited site.

I seriously doubt either Mexico or Canada would go along with this....Americans sure won't.

Trump is right about foreign aliens OTM's streaming into this country...and he is right about the abuse of women and children being abused horribly by human traffickers...the press and others have muddled this beyond recognition of this truth.

For MOST couples there has to be a meeting of the mind on issues political, I’m not so sure that’s true for couples who are professional politicians (whether in the elective or policy realm).

There’s the Carville/Matalin duo as archetype. In Washington, DC there are hundreds, perhaps thousands, of couples who have diametrically opposed views on many - if not all - issues, but whose marriage is sound.

Certainly, the Cruzes appear to be in accord on political issues, so it would be nice to know where HE stands vs. her as a member of the CFR Task Force.

Trump has been right on this all along.

And he knows what these people are capable of. As a real estate businessman, he saw their pernicious results when they intentionally toppled the real estate market in 2007/8.

He knows they intend to weaken the nation.

Ted Cruz has referred to the CFR as a “pernicious nest of snakes” and a “pit of vipers” in the past. I do not suppose Cruz thinks his wife is either of those. I am guessing it was just Mr. GOPe insider trying to make himself appear to be an outsider.

“They’ve been working on this longer than Bush. Even the first Bush wasn’t the first.”

Correct, but in my lifetime the person who spoke aloud in an address to the nation of support for the goal of a “new world order” was George H. W. Bush.

The first Presidential hopeful within the Republican or Democrat Party to break rank from the NWO goal has been Trump. IMHO, this is the major reason for establishment rebellion against Trump.

UPDATE: A reader notes that in addition to her term membership at the CFR, Heidi Cruz served on the task force that wrote "Building a North American Community," a report from CFR on relations between the United States, Mexico and Canada.

I first heard if the North American Union back in the early 90’s... I figured it was a concept long gone.

My friends on FR. Whenever I see an article on a "North American Union" that appears here I cringe.

For all of your information, there is absolutely NO SUPPORT in Canada for a union with the US or Mexico or both. There are no editorials on the subject. There are no articles. Roughly 95% of Canadians would be horrified at that prospect, no offense.

The politicians are against it. The people are against it. I do not see anyone in the media in favor of it.

As for a monetary union, that didn't work out too well for Greece or Cyprus did it? Maybe the Federal Reserve Bank is working on this, but there is no support in Canada.

Relax friends. There will be no "North American Union". In fact the trend it running the other way. Mexico should never have been included in the FTA and once the wall goes up (please build it soon) it might fuel the movement to exclude them. Canada and the US make great trade partners. Mexico not so much.

A globalist pipe dream that has been around since I was in HighSchool (the 1950s) and has never gone anywhere. It’s still a globalist pipe dream and will never go anywhere. Worrying about it is like worrying about a panda invasion or unicorn farts.

LOL! It's coming to fruition RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU, and you still cannot see it.

The recent passing of Nancy Reagan has reminded us of her critical role as a policy advisor. It was personal, but it wasn’t always so private.

Exactly so.

However, Nancy was always looking out for her Ronnie. She was completely devoted to him and to his betterment. Nancy never tried to undermine her Ronnie.
