While at Shell Island, next to Tyndall AFB in Panama City, I saw a tight formation of three old F16 target drones with day glo orange tails flying off together to meet their fate over the Gulf of Mexico.

About 60 seconds later, two F22s in tight formation were speeding behind them in the same flight path. The cats were after the mice. It was quite a spectacle. Wish I could have seen the finale.

Despite the hype, the F-22 still does not have the heads up and data helmet it was supposed to have at or near inception ... and worse not only do most other non-US fighters have these but it is also a 40 year old tech. The helmet the newer F-35 uses still has issues and does not work as needed yet.

While the advent of the 9X missile is great, prior to this the F-22 had the 9M (?) which was no match for Russian fighters similar missile.

this missile makes the most lethal combat aircraft the world has ever seen even more capable.

You know, not to be picky, but how many air to air kills has the Raptor rung up? Yes, that's right...zero.

The Eagle has over 50 kills without a loss. I would say, that makes the F-15 the most lethal aircraft the world has ever seen.

The Raptor has the potential to be a world killer.
