The elites are saying “if you want to operate outside our system (don’t take Super Pac money, not work your way up in the party) We will make you wish you never announced your candidacy.>>>> here in philly i started a congressional campaign and put a resume together after they knew i was serious getting signatures and stuff. met somewhere in the smoke filled room and they chose someone else. ok figured it was a long shot anyhow but the guy they picked to go up against foglietta at the time was a lawyer waste product. i would have at least fought for the demotion in pay. and oh by the way. you couldn’t run pro-life. since then i thot about handing out pro-life stuff around the churches near me at election time.
Philly is a tough place. We had a dear friend at Penn Medical get violently attacked there. Had to give up being a surgeon.
