“Hillary is the lesser evil, by a large margin,” says Eliot Cohen”
Two things about this quote stuck out to me.
1) If Hillary is the lesser evil then what are you telling fully 35% of your party that supports Trump?
2) if you (Eliot Cohen) support Hillary and cost Reoublicans the election, we are told this will have awful downstream results in House and Senate. What exactly are the goals of the party If losing House, Senate seats is the right choice?
Personally, I think he’s being honest when he says Hillary is the lesser evil. Trump, in their minds, would smash the Washington DC oligarchy to which Cohen and the other 115 participants of this confab belong. Hillary wouldn’t. When you look at his quote through that perspective it makes sense,

It would also make sense that this goal was actually achieved, which I have no doubt it did.

Unreal. Hillary gets 4 people killed in Libya and causes Europe to overrun with migrants..just to state a couple
AND SHE IS THE LESSER EVIL? SCUMBAGS
