WaPo had a lousy obit too.
I’m so glad this thread was posted, going outside to put my flag up at half mast. Shame on me for not thinking of it myself.
I have thought about this a lot, and I don’t think the bible condemns astrology per se, but trying to use it for profit via fortune telling.
There are several references to astrology as being a “timing device”, a language of sorts, and used as a way to recognize the signs of the times, I don’t think it is condemned.
What is condemned is pretending to know God’s plan. I find astrology, particularly mundane astrology a fascinating subject to study, but in retrospect only. It is too complicated to try to ascertain and details about future events, but one can get a rough idea of when difficult times might develop.
....not so soon....can’t rush these things, after all he has to have someone write something he can read without sounding like a racist bigoted POS he is
Yeah, any comment offered spontaneously risks revealing his actual sneering punk*ss nature.
Apparently, the US Forestry office across the parking lot from where I work hasn’t got the message yet.
Eyep....he’s light in the head, not on his feet
Call them. I always do
RIP
I am no fan of the Obamas but they did actually put out a decent statement yesterday.(Probably written by someone else, but nevertheless, a decent statement) I have copied it below:
“Nancy Reagan once wrote that nothing could prepare you for living in the White House. She was right, of course. But we had a head start, because we were fortunate to benefit from her proud example, and her warm and generous advice.
Our former First Lady redefined the role in her time here. Later, in her long goodbye with President Reagan, she became a voice on behalf of millions of families going through the depleting, aching reality of Alzheimers, and took on a new role, as advocate, on behalf of treatments that hold the potential and the promise to improve and save lives.
We offer our sincere condolences to their children, Patti, Ron, and Michael, and to their grandchildren. And we remain grateful for Nancy Reagans life, thankful for her guidance, and prayerful that she and her beloved husband are together again.”
I have chills. Absolutely appropriate.
I was actually thinking about popping into the office on my lunch break.
Yes. Released it yesterday:

See post 36. Released it yesterday morning.
Trump sent a tweet.
Just when you think OTrauma can't surprise you any more, he does.
That wasn’t an obituary, it was a hit piece disguised as an obituary.
WHAT DEMON HAS TAKEN OVER OTRAUMA TO MAKE HIM BEHAVE LIKE A HUMAN BEING????!?
