Hi everyone.
Back from Pittsburgh and feeling guilty I’m not at work.
I was saddened by Nancy’s death too. I was a Reagan democrat. Voted for him both times. Was very proud to have done so. Had to make up for (and I’m ashamed to admit it) voting for Carter my first time voting. Hey, I was young and stupid, and came from an all-democrat/unionista family! I miss Ronnie too. Ranks up there with George Washington and Calvin Coolidge, IMHO.
I would add Washington, Jefferson, Madison, Lincoln, Monroe, Coolidge, and Regan. And, for my own favorite. Jefferson, Davis
He was truly a great statesman, the likes of which we haven’t seen since.
All these candidates calling themselves “Reaganesque” can’t hold a candle to him.
Evening sneakers...I’m just catching up. Granddaughter ok? Hope all is well for her.
I back to no sleep at night (ear infection—how I have it I don’t know)...so not on the thread much. Hope I get some sleep and get back on some sort of schedule.
Youngest sons college baseball team is in SC (for their spring training). Next to youngest home for the week. Time flying—he’ll graduate and in May.
