I still like Cruz, but the stuff he is saying makes me not want to listen to him. Claiming there is a bombshell in the tax returns, or that the media wants Trump so he can lose to Hillary is the kind of stuff I expect from the Clintons.
It makes him look desperate.
Sorry, it makes him look Establishment. There’s really no other explanation for Cruz parroting Romney’s smears, IMO. Cruz is solidly on team GOPe now.
He's looking at the math and is desperate, so he sees the Romney idea as a path to winning.
I'm not saying it's right, I think it's one of many mistakes he has made, and this is just another one.
Just an opinion, because there is no way to prove what he's doing in any definitive way.
