"If we must have an enemy at the head of Government, let it be one whom we can oppose, and for whom we are not responsible, who will not involve our party in the disgrace of his foolish and bad measures." - Alexander Hamilton

"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates wouldn’t make any sense at all." -- President Ronald Reagan

"A thing moderately good is not so good as it ought to be. Moderation in temper is always a virtue; but moderation in principle is always a vice." - Thomas Paine 1792

"It does not take a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men." - Samuel Adams

"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams

" Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost." - John Quincy Adams

Constitution...No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President.... United States v. Wong Kim Ark, 169 U.S. 649, 18 S.Ct. 456, 42 L.Ed. “A person born out of the jurisdiction of the United States can only become a citizen by being naturalized....” Ted Cruz was born in Canada and out of the jurisdiction of the United States. Ted Cruz is a naturalized U.S. citizen at best, and he is not and can never be a natural born citizen.

Is Cruz in the same time warp that I am? Oh if this was so. The establishment and media have done everything in the books to prevent Trump from going forward.

This is the most unique season I’ve ever seen. Half of the conservatives say the media is out to get Trump. The other half claims he’s being propped up.

Funny how those who thought it sick that Obama was referred to as "The One" and then the "I Won", don't get any twinges when Cruz proclaims himself the "Only Possible One", yet they see all sorts of "scary things" in the most open comments of Trump.

Twilight Zone music begins .... ,,,, ;;;;

‘We’re not interested in losing again, particularly when the stakes, I think, are catastrophic.’

We agree with you, Ted Cruz, the born in Canada to a Cuban father Ted Cruz!
We don’t want to lose again. YOU, Ted Cruz, shouldn’t want to lose again!
Why then do you, the constitutionally ineligible person, want to be the nominee, so Hillary and her democrats and media will and can remove your name from the state ballots?
You, Ted Cruz, is the one (if nominated) who will cause the catastrophic result of a Hillary win!!!

The media has given Donald Trump hundreds of millions of dollars of free advertising.

That's true as far as it goes. Cruz is missing the point though. The media always tries to turn their "free advertising" into a hit piece on Trump, but it doesn't work because Trump understands how to manipulate the media better than the reporters, pundits and puppets do.

This is unfathomable to poor Cruz who couldn't get the media to run a positive story on him if he saved a busload of orphans and puppies.

The thing about the tax returns is a non-starter. Personally, I don't thionk any of the candidates should release tax returns. The The income tax regime has become so onerous and convoluted that it is something that is not particularly useful. Well, they are useful for partisans because it is so easy to find something in them that can be reported negatively, even if it is something completely innocuous.

I'm a Cruz supporter, and understand why he's banging on the income tax thing, because politics isn't about cookies and crumpets, but I don't like it, and don't particularly care about the outcome.

There’s no way Cruz can beat Hillary with his record.
She’ll tear him apart.

DISLIKED, DISTRUSTED BY MOST ASSOCIATED THROUGH CAREER

Alumni, roommates, law clerks, former staffers in the George W. Bush campaign and White House (and the president himself), members of Congress and others who have known Cruz — lots and lots of people — consider him socially awkward, nasty, dishon
httpest, a blatant apple-polisher and all-around creepy guy. You can write off a few of these critics as jealous of his success, or liberal antagonists, but all of them? There is something badly amiss here. Cruz, who so obviously lacks emotional intelligence, cannot recognize it, but those closest to him surely must see that something is awry...

SELDOM SHOWS UP FOR JOB ELECTED TO DO:

Ted Cruz the senator: Heard but not seen
The Texas Republican seriously lags most of his colleagues in attending hearings and casting votes.
Ted Cruz came to Washington two-and-a-half years ago pledging to be the anti-senator. But he’s been more like the no-show senator.
The Texas Republican seriously lags most of his colleagues in attending hearings and casting votes in what has been a Senate career long on rhetoric and short on Senate business.
He’s skipped the vast majority of Armed Services Committee hearings, is below-average in attendance on his other major committees and ranks 97th during the first three months of this year in showing up for roll call votes on the Senate floor. ... -Read more: Ted Cruz the senator: Heard but not seen

Ted, take your meds. The media hates Trump.
The last thing they want is to coronate him

That said, your Dad Ted, wants you to be annointed. Chew on that one Ted, once that fact goes into full media attention, you will feel the real heat.
