Two of his wives were Eastern European. The early Ivana always looked like a taskmaster to me - despite her turning into Ava Gabor after her divorce from The Donald. And Melania, in her interview with Greta, also came across as one tough Eastern European taskmaster.

Eric Trump told a story on Sean Hannity’s radio show of how he once gave serious lip to the Donald which caused the latter to leap out of the chair and chase him up the staircase where he ran into Ivana. It didn't end well for Eric. So they obviously had two parents who care a lot. Friend, radio show host Mark Simone, has always said that Trump likes to be at home at night - that goes a long way to making children feel safe, comfortable and able to find their way in life.

Those kids have been phenomenal after the debates. If it had been me, I would have strangled Megan Kelly.

Ivana, who Trump dumped for a trophy wife, was and is an amazing, accomplished woman. So amazing that Trump found another woman with the same accent that could also be a Trophy wife for number three. Granted, Ivana would have never shown her tits on the cover of a man’s rag, but Melania does sound like her; thus what I think was Trump’s initial attraction to her. Purely speculation on my part, of course.

How does the author know what Trump’s children are really like? We have no idea, from what we see on television or in magazines, what people are really like, what their relationships are like, and so on.

Last night, I was reading a book that was published last year, and the author mentioned Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner as an example of a great Hollywood marriage ... making it work just like real people. Overtaken by events, hon: now they’re divorced and the story is that they were having trouble for years.

What the rich, powerful, and well-known show the public is as carefully scripted and photographed as any Hollywood movie. There are real people underneath, but the peons are never going to know them.

Trump also made a pretty creepy comment about his daughter... since he cannot seem to avoid making comments on women's appearance...

but the kids aren't running, he is. Nice try at a puff piece, though.

Over the years I’ve seen interviews with various women in The Donald’s life (business and social), and a good many commented on what “a great father” he is to his kids.

Still, I’ve got to believe their mothers were/are a significant part of their lives as well.

What is this supposed to mean. Just because he’s a good father doesn’t make him a conservative.

[Art.] So, why doth Romney rage? Well, I'm guessin' it has less to do with patriotism and more to do with personal pettiness and political envy.

Wrong. He was recruited. Recruited and signed up, to deliver the message of the Party leadership (McConnell and crew) to the unwashed masses. Donald is a pariah! Do not touch him, do not go near him -- unclean! Unclean!

Yeah, right.

The people who're unclean are the scum who recruited black Democrat preachers and voters to take money to vote in the Mississippi primary a couple of years ago, to beat Tea Party challenger McDaniel, who was very close to "primary'ing" Thad Cochran, a tired old RiNO bull. The leader of that effort was Mitch McConnell, helped iirc by (now lobbyist) Trent Lott and the younger Barbour.

It was one of the most scurrilous campaigns in U.S. senatorial history, directed by the party leaders against a Tea Party Republican.
