Reagan wasn’t a smarmy little twit that teamed up with the likes of Rubio to attack the front runner.

And yet Cruz does well in head-to-head polling against Hillary Clinton. MUCH better than Reagabn polled against Carter at this point.

For the record, I believe that Trump would also clobber Hillary Clinton, though differently. I'm of the mind that if the U.S.A. would choose Hillary Clinton over either Cruz or Trump, that we are too far gone. Both candidates will run a real race, unlike the McCains, Bushes and Romneys.
