We had a Libertarian here in Georgia propose exactly that. Every Congressman’s office must be located in the District he/she serves. All votes conducted remotely. All lobbyist buildings on K street would be vacant within 3 months.
Death penalty for politicians proposing any law or program not specifically authorized in the Constitution.
Sell D.C. offices to a college or university for offices, classrooms, dorms, etc. Turn the Capitol Building into tour site; charge for the tours to cover costs. All Sens must live in their states, red in districts, and communicate thru modern, low cost tech.
But Mitch McConnell and Harry Reid and Obama wouldn’t be able to work them over and threaten them if they weren’t right under their wings there so it’ll never happen.
The only change obama wants is more technology to surveille us. And manipulate us.

The structure of the government isn't the problem.
It is the crooks, liars, grifters, criminals and traitors like Obama who weasel their way into the White House, Congress and the Senate.

I’m surprised that he is actually doing this. Didn’t a few years ago some elite journalist remark about how the presidency allegedly bored Obama and that he was well above it’s challenges? This guy, whose mother probably wrote his teachers notes to excuse young Barack from homework.

...I lived in Austin and went to the SXSW 10 years in a row. Nothing is further from the truth. This is just a big progressive hippie dopefest. 6t Street gets trashed. If anyone has college, their major was 14th Century Art or Womens Studies. It’s fun. But to compare these people to the likes of Henry Ford, Bill Gates or Ron Popeil is laughable.
