Just got back from voting for Ted Cruz. 9:40 am

I was the only person there at the time to vote. Pretty sad to see. You would think there would be more of a turnout for this.

I moved to Southwest Louisiana a year ago.
Maybe people here vote by mail more than in person.

Also everywhere else I have lived has had some kind of electronic digital voting booth. This was just a huge touch board, where you selected your candidate, then pushed the voting button at bottom. Nothing to confirm that my vote was actually registered for the candidate I had selected.

Glad you voted Cruz! Do you mean that there was not a screen for you to review your selections prior to casting your ballot? In TX, we vote on those electronic ballots, but you get to review all your selections before you hit the final button to vote.

We switched from a late-May primary to today’s caucus, for the first time ever. My 85-year-old father also said its the first time KY has ever voted on a Saturday in his life. Gloomy, rainy day here and the party did a horribly bad job of getting the word out, yet at least three of my friends have reported mile-long lines at polling places.
