Oh whatever. Down here in Texas it is practically impossible to not hire an illegal at some point or another.

Do I want the border closed yes. Do I want legal immigration halted for 25 years. Yes.

Do I can about gotcha stories. No.

C’mon now. If this happened in Trump’s campaign, there’d be 10 threads posted about it already by rabid Cruz supporters.

I can enjoy this minor bit of schadenfreude.

Charles Foster on his finance team taken from !Jeb speaks volumes. Foster is the rock-star Mick Jagger of open borders-immigration lawyer establishment fame in Houston. All local papers,TV shows will have him speak on “Immigration” he turns up on highly dubious e-mails (planning-coordination between DC & cities) from Houston City Hall’s INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITIES Dept.

Well I agree on the gotchya stories. I run my own business. I can tell you it’s pretty easy to CHECK and follow the law and hire only legal candidates. If any doubt, no hire. Very easy.

I am expecting some illegal aliens to come and mow my yard any minute now. Did I hire them? Not exactly, the company I hired, hired them. Do I want a closed border? Of course I do but I have no control over the guy I hired to bring his workers to my yard, except to fire him and hire another one. Every yard company in Texas most likely hires illegals. I see their trucks and trailers all over town and they are all Mexicans.

We ate at a Mexican restaurant last night. I know the owner she was born in the US but it is likely that most of the kitchen staff is from Honduras here illegally. That is the way it is here in Texas and always has been. I saw them wading across the Rio Grande myself years ago. That is why they were called wetbacks.
