I want to get to the elephant in the room, and Im not talking about the Republican Party, Sean Hannity told a slightly rowdy, tipsy crowd at the CPAC pre-debate party on Thursday night.
The Fox News host had warmed up the audience with his usual mixture of throwing foam footballs into the crowd...And now it was time to get to what truly was the elephant in the room on the first day of the Conservative Political Action Conference: the extraordinary race for the Republican presidential primary.
The word Trump was uttered maybe two or three times throughout the opening day of the annual conservative conference, as though the ongoing presidential race was merely a fictional subplot on a TBS political drama.
How many of you here support Ted Cruz? Hannity asked. Loud cheers erupted from the conservative crowd.
How many of you here support Donald Trump? An extraordinary wave of boos arose.
How many of you like Marco Rubio? Mostly cheers, some boos mixed in.
How many of you in this room want John Kasich to win? A prevailing sense of indifference, tilting toward boos.
I would say, in this order: Cruz, Trump, Rubio, Kasich, right? The wrongness of that brought itself some boos, but Hannity moved on.
Sean Hannity is a Trump whats the word here ... shill. Near the end of Hannitys warmup spielafter he said he wished Mitt Romney were as strong against Barack Hussein Obama as he was today against Trumphe asked the crowd to stand up and pledge to support the Republican nominee for president, even if its Trump. Most of the crowd did. But they sure didnt like the guy at all once the debate began......
CPAC gave Cruz the first standing ovation of the night. Here, he was the winner of the debate by a landslide...

I agree with you that Sean hasn't been an OPEN Trump shill until last night, compared to Greta Van Susteren, Neil Cavuto, O'Reilly and others at Fox.....but I think that Sean's "out of the closet" on his Trump preference now. LOL
{This is a lie youd expect from a two-year old.}
But you’re speaking of a trumpeter, so you repeat yourself....
He told jokes?
Especially the booger gobbling portion.
JUVENILE, just like the average American today. It’s a shame to keep it here.
Cruz hasn’t torpedoed himself. He outperformed all polling by big margins on Super Tuesday.
You are either 10 years old or a sophomore as it shows nothing but immaturity.
I have sent Abuse's on others that have commented on this as it is very inappropriate and horrible to keep this up.
As a Cruz supporter I would rake over the coals anyone that would post such comments or pictures of Trump, Rubio, Kasich or departed JEB.
There have been many dumb, silly and funny pictures and coments made, but this on CRUZ is despicably childish and horribly offensive to him and his family.
(But youre speaking of a trumpeter, so you repeat yourself....)
How many times have we patriotic Cruz supporters been attacked here for Cruz’ FORMER H1-B visa position, as if it was current? NOW, Banana Don LOVES H1-B’s, and his drones are mute! Friggin’ phonies!
Bulls-—
I urge all to report these pictures and comments to the Administrator asap......and everytime you see it.
I don't care which candidate we support, something like this is inappropriate and horribly disgusting for any of them and or their families. GROW UP
Guess only disgusting things about Cruz is allowed these days.
Gotcha message, Slim-——problem with your finger??
Actually, Trump acted like a jerk last night, and he got the shellacking he deserved.
In my view the man is just another insider professional politician lawyer. He may pontificate more than most but he is not much better than the rest of them. I think Ted and his booger issue is pretty funny.
You are free to look at it any way you like I suppose. Sandwiching him between the Cuban Tag Team and then having Megyn Kelley making up her own facts makes it seem like the cards were all stacked against him. Yet he took it with a pretty good nature. Too bad your guy, Ted didn’t appeal to the audience any more than he usually does. People start to get tired of the lawyerly truth stretching after awhile.
It IS possible that our education system has so dumbed down the populace that they cannot comprehend Ted’s clear, concise logic.
The problem is that Ted uses college level language to describe 4th grade level concepts to make them sound more impressive. While Trump uses 4th grade level language to describe college level concepts because he wants the widest possible audience to understand. As you seem to realize it is still a miss with many who made it through our current educational system.
I don’t agree. Ted doesn’t utilize language like William F. Buckley. His statements are clear and simple.
Just finished watching Ted speak at CPAC and you are right. His presentation skills have improved significantly over the course of this campaign. He is sounding a lot less lawyerly than he used to.
