I have to admit, this issue is one that doesn’t really bother me. I’m a Cruz supporter.
What it looks like to me is that the “University” was pretty much a scam when it started and it got caught. (BBB rating from this period was a D-)
Then they changed their name and cleaned up their act. (BBB rating A)
It’s not like a number of these online universities and other schools have sterling reputations. Many of them play for suckers large numbers the working class, into loans and as a method to fleece the federal financial aid programs.
Trump tries a new business line. Either it works or it doesn’t. Not every business venture is a great success. But he is at least willing to try thing that are outside of his area of expertise. Sometimes the dice come up craps.
