I think GHWB being VP was “forced upon” Ronald Reagan as the “Price” for their “support.” Just think how much better the Reagan Presidency would have been without GHWB! He should have had a VP who wanted to carry on his programs, instead he got someone who went to work on day one as president to destroy them. BUSH is a four-letter word!
Reagan did not pick Bush. It was forced on him. He really had no chance. If Trump gets there the same will happen with him. These presidents are unable to keep their promises. The CFR, etc rule here.
