Jim Webb Opens Door to Supporting Trump
The Hill ^ | 3/4/2016 | Jesse Byrnes

Posted on 03/04/2016 6:37:51 AM PST by sunrise_sunset

Webb said he wasn't sure whom he'd support for president, and said his issue with Clinton was "nothing personal." He also left open the door to support Trump, the GOP front-runner.

"A certain group of people are seeing him as the only one who has the courage to step forward and say, 'We've got to clear out the stables of the American governmental system right now,' " Webb said.

Interesting.

If he can deliver Virginia and Trump wins Florida I believe the race would be over.

I watched the 1st Dem debate, and Jim Webb was the only one up there that made any sense.

Not saying I’d support him. But he definitely sounded like he was in the wrong party.

Look for a string of very surprising Trump endorsements.

Combination of the Strong Horse Theory and a fracturing, imploding GOP.

So, is this the start of the #NeverHillary movement in the Democrat party?

That's an awful lot of volatility for one ticket. >8^0

Interesting...

The Dems have moved so far left, that it left a massive swath of voters that are not comfortable with either Bernie or Bernette, and are ripe for the picking.

He left the GOP solely because of his opposition to the Iraq war. Turns out I was wrong and he was right...

Yes, he was. It was tough to watch him leave that contest, he brought substance.

He was the 60th vote for Obamacare which is the reason he is out of the senate. Maybe this might parlay him Sec of Defense though

Interesting development. Thanks for posting.

If true Virginia could potentially be a big prize for Trump.
