Never forget Obama’s orchestrated overthrow of Hosni Mubarek in Egypt and the coup by the Muslim Brotherhood.
Will the legacy of the Current Occupant live on? The legacy of Jimmy Carter and the rise of militant Iranian theocracy has been contributing to the unrest of the world for some 37 years now, and along with the other mischief he raised (US dependence on foreign oil because of the ban on use of natural gas and other regulatory obstacles, skyrocketing interest rates that virtually shut down any industrial expansion or real estate transactions, and finally the “crisis of confidence” and the climate of “national malaise”), the military was hollowed out, while taxes and “transfer payments” skyrocketed as a portion of the Federal budget.
Only the Current Occupant could make us feel the least bit nostalgic for the Carter years.
Shakespeare’s “Julius Caesar”, Act 3, Scene 2, from Mark Anthony’s speech -
The evil that men do lives after them;
The good is oft interrèd with their bones.
