German investigators said Thursday they were examining whether a 15-year-old girl who stabbed a policeman in the neck was motivated by Islamic extremism.
The teenager attacked the officer on February 27 during a routine check at Hanover train station, before being overpowered by another police officer.
Investigators were examining if there could have been a "possible political or religious motivation" for the attack, and whether the girl had an "Islamist background" after it emerged she had recently traveled to Turkey, a Hanover prosecution spokesman, Thomas Klinge, told AFP. ...

Article says she’s Moroccan with a German passport and had previously traveled to the Turkish/Syrian border region and had contact with ISIS. The cop who was stabbed wanted to check her because she acted suspiciously.

But just look at those puppy eyes! Only a cruel (=conservative =right wing fascist) person would have denied her asylum!
