The Super Dvora Mk III patrol boats are fast coastal patrol vessels similar to the American Navy's PCF (Swift) boats of the Vietnam and post-war era. Super Dvora’s are longer (90 feet vice 50 feet), faster, have a larger crew, and more endurance than the old PCF. The Israeli boats have had their armament upgraded in recent years. The main battery is the Rafael Typhoon GS mounting — a remotely operated, stabilized M242 Bushmaster 25mm cannon and a pair of Spike ER missiles with tandem HEAAT warheads. In addition there are two AN/M2 HB caliber .50 (12.7mm) machine guns; and one 20mm Oerlikon auto cannon.

If the Israelis are concerned about Hamas or Hezbullah mounting swarm attacks, they might consider outfitting their Super Dvoras with AeroVironment’s Switchblade kamikaze drone. The Switch blade is compact and is fired from its shipping container launcher. Once airborne, the drone controller uses its on-board camera to locate and target the drone. Target lock accomplished, the drone crashes itself onto the target followed by warhead detonation. Carry a half dozen or ten of these suicide drones on board your patrol boat and the terrorists will regret a swarm attack on your Super Dvora.
