Translation: Canadians would appreciate it if Americans paid more attention to Canada.

Exactly! He's saying that he wants us to become more involved in Canadian affairs, to export to them some more of our "American Way of Life."

An understandable sentiment!

Regards,

Morality.

Here’s where they’re coming from. Many Canadians focus quite a bit on U.S. entertainment media, believing that our lives are shown through such media (television, etc.). Many of them also visit choice destinations in the U.S., like New York City, Washington D.C. and Florida.

But they feel that we don’t pay enough attention to them: Canadians (the rest of the world).

I forget, was it Canada that preserved freedom and led the world to victory in WWII? Was it Canada that led to the demise of the USSR and freeing millions from the yoke of communism?

Yes, and let Israel get consumed in the fire. Let more totalitarian superpowers form in the wake of the end of Pax Americana engineered by Obama, etc.
There is a rank due to the United States among nations, which will be withheld, if not absolutely lost, by the reputation of weakness. ...

George Washington
Those new multipolar superpowers will not let the USA repose in its isolation.

Trudeau stops Canada’s participation in the bombing of ISIS, yet he wants the USA to pay closer attention to world affairs?

Trudeau, like most Liberals, is a projectionist. He projects his own failures & shortcomings on others.

His administration will cause Canada to decline as will individual rights, while Trudeau will blame anyone but himself. The Liberal play book reads easily like a comic book, with the end always the same - the people get screwed, the world is a more dangerous place, & always somebody else did it or should have done something about it.

Lead, follow, or get out of the way.

Israel has the strongest military there. Just how many American lives do you want to sacrifice trying to turn the Middle East into something other than the barbaric, backwards dump that it is?

Some of our people have been deployed 4 and 5 times, we have spent billions, and what do we have to show for it?

You are aware of what kind of rules of engagement the liberals have imposed, and the fact that the generals have continued to impose them on the military, right? Do you approve of this?

Also, your mentioning of Israel in this context seems to say that you do approve.

If you think the rules of engagement are going to change in today’s US, you are not paying attention. They were crappy under Bush, the nation-builder, too.

The only way to stop the horror in the Middle East is to kill every single Muslim, and that is not going to happen.

As long as the US has troops in Muslim countries, they will continue to be part of a perpetual campaign that should be called Operation Provide Targets. Meanwhile, the Muslim invasion of the US (started by Clinton and accelerated by Bush and Obama) continues. Islam here is the threat to our safety and security.

Well then, better hide under your bed or something. War’s coming. The late Reagan wasn’t joking when he said that “(f)reedom is just one generation away from extinction”, with the characteristics of the generation that would lose said freedom strongly implied.

What happened when we pulled out of Iraq? Oh yes, “ISIS”. So running away turned out to be worse.

So was Washington wrong when he said what would happen when the USA projected weakness? In the same speech, he also said the USA has to be “at all times ready for war”.

BTW, I did not mention Bush.

And why are you doing this on a thread that has nothing to do with this subject?
