Attacking Trump on issues during a debate is one thing, siding with Romney is another.

Well, but he has not been taking money from the RNC and their superpacs. He has, at least to me, been relying on contributions from individuals from the more Libertarian and evangelical based Conservatives, not much on donors with long standing ties to the RNC or RNC superpacs.
I know he has some support from Texas Republicans but I don’t see that as establishment RNC. More of Texas Republicans helping Texas Republicans.
Rubio seemed to be the guy that took the deal and orders from the RNC, got tons of money from them, and the RNC pacs got behind to go after Trump. I think Cruz may have privately agreed with Rubio to tear down Trump, but I don’t think Cruz was in the meetings with the RNC and RNC superpac Donors that Rubio was
