It would be fun to see Christie simply turn on Romney’s 2012 praise for Trump and walk off the stage. Don’t say a word. Just let Romney rebut himself.

Romney did the same thing to Christie. He gave him the impression he was going to be his VP, he had him everywhere vouching for him, then, boom, all Romney gave him was a keynote speaker spot.
And even that speech was written for him by Romney’s peeps, needless to say, Christie was not happy, hence, the hug. I believe the hug was payback for being double crossed by Romney.
