I agree -- this is a pretty good plan. It's just unfair to call out those who previously criticized Trump on this issue because he actually changed his position in response.

Of course, I read that plan, and I don't think it was actually written by Trump himself. I suspect it was written by one of his policy guys who was aware of the criticism. Which is perfectly fine, btw.

But the test is whether Trump is actually going to stick to this on the campaign trail, or whether he goes right back to talking about universal coverage and pre-existing conditions when challenged.

Good points. This gives greater hope to me about Trump’s heart and intelligence and ability to absorb and learn. To me it looks like he’s on a path going away from the Left towards the Right.
