The Case Against Mitt Romney

Multiple Mitts: Romney on the Issues
Is potential presidential candidate Mitt Romney too two-faced for voters?

Making a Disaster National: Massachusetts' RomneyCare v. ObamaCare
All of the key features in the Obama-care national health care plan were in Massachusetts Romney-care plan, although a few of the numbers were slightly different.

Mitt Romney's Magic Act: Creating the Illusion RomneyCare Is Different from ObamaCare
Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney won the Southern Republican Leadership Conference Presidential Poll April 10, defeating Rep. Ron Paul by a single vote, 438-437 despite signing into law a Massachusetts health care reform law almost identical to Obama's agenda.

What in the world does Romney expect to accomplish?
Does he expect it to deny Trump the nomination? That’s not likely.
Does he expect to harm Trump in the general election? Maybe a little, but I don’t think that would be his motivation.
Does he want to do what his social circle expect in order to receive their approval? That’s my guess.

A translation from the GOPe via their spokesman...

We are in charge and we know what to do. The American people aren't intelligent enough to decide who controls the government and should leave that to us.

They aren’t learning that the more they bash Trump the more he grows in the eyes of the voter.

Mitt Romney is a groveling, low-down piece of crap who isn’t fit to shine Trump’s shoes. Maybe it’s time for Trump to leave the GOP and take his voters with him.

If the GOP wants to commit suicide, give the election to Hillary, and finish off the country then i say have at it. Let’s get it over with. Maybe a new, free America will rise from the ashes. Or maybe not....

Like the old saying, “I don’t think you are making the case you think you are...”

Despite is numerous faults, Trump is the anti-establishment candidate for people who feel they have been screwed by both parties and are not at all represented in Washington. An rich, establishment Republican speaking out against Trump will only embolden that case. No one in the GOP establishment has a clue what is really happening.

Romney gave us Obama via his pitiful campaign designed to lose. He should be doing nothing but apologizing whenever he shows up in public.

Make no mistake, this is being orchestrated by the GOPe. There is no way this would be happening without their prompting, direction, and close supervision. Romney is acting as the hatchet man for the GOPe. Does anyone thing Mitt is acting on his own. Does anyone think Mitt’s speech hasn’t been written, or at least preapproved by the GOPe?

Anyone who doesn’t understand these things has not paying attention.

Sorry, “... speech for the ages” and Mitt Romney don’t belong in the same article, let alone the same title.

I have more than my share of issues with Trump. However, I can’t imagine any circumstance where any semi-conscious human being thinks that MITT ROMNEY is the solution to the “Trump Problem.”

The GOPe has spent millions to push JEB! on us and all that they achieved was to wreck the career and reputation of a pretty decent Florida governor who really had no business running for President.

To now dust off Romney and expect any significant share of the electorate to listen to him is patently laughable.
