Other than the pundits, and the political junkies, not one damned person will watch this... sound bites from it will make a news cycle or two, Trump will respond and get even more free press.....
Seriously, who the hell thinks a guy who couldn’t get the same turnout at the polls as McCain is going to carry a whole lot of weight?
IF the GOP tried 1/10th as hard at fighting Obama as they do Trump, they wouldn’t find themselves in this mess now.

He, nor I, nor any one else here backs the GOPe. But we are clear headed to understand that if you were to take all of Trump’s own statements and positions, past and present, and give them to another candidate, that candidate would have polled lower than all candidates running.
Trumpers are cutting alot of slack for the Donald for things that would have killed any other GOP’s candidate’s chances. I think it’s because they found someone who has, in their view, given them a voice against the political correctness that’s infected not only the GOPe but the nation in general. They found someone who has taken on the media and won.
Perfect example is the thread were,when Rubio was a State commissioner for Fla in 1999, he banned guns in city parks. Oh the outrage there was. That was one year earlier when Trump stated his support for an assault weapons ban.
The list goes on and on. When a politician changes his views, he’s a flip flopper. When Trump does it, he’s evolving. When Christie hugged BHO before the 2012 election, that sparked outrage. When Trump donates to Hillary and Democrats and praises them, he had to do it for business purposes. When McCain brags about working with Democrats, he’s shunned. Trump says it and it’s “The Art of the Deal.”
Egads. And I thought the left only did that. And I’m weakening my stance on not voting for him in the general to at least hearing more of what he has to say during the campaign season and then deciding. But I will never mindlessly spin for him, Cruz, or anyone else

I used to think that his most dedicated supporters were going to in for the worst let down of the century. Now, I’m more convinced than ever he could shoot someone on the street and his dedicated followers would still follow him.
