More from AP: “His promises are as worthless as a degree from Trump University.” He charged that Trump “has neither the temperament nor the judgment to be president.”

Romney calls this moment a “time for choosing” that will “have profound consequences for the Republican Party and more importantly, for the country.”

Romney argues that Trump’s “domestic policies would lead to recession. His foreign policies would make America and the world less safe.” “And his personal qualities would mean that America would cease to be a shining city on a hill.”

Romney calls this moment A “TIME FOR CHOOSING” that will “have profound consequences for the Republican Party and more importantly, for the country.”

Emphasis mine.

Interesting coincidence that leads me to wonder if this isn’t a talking point. It certainly ‘’cheapens’’ the phrase, as it becomes a cliche.

1. The title of a book by Ted Cruz
2. A quote from this Politico article, posted today on FR by Helicondelta

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3404499/posts

from the article (Again, emphasis mine)

‘’Calling Trump “your guy,” Beeson tweeted at Schlapp: “There comes A TIME FOR CHOOSING … and you have made your choice.”’’

(Rich Beeson, to whom the Tweet is attributed, is Rubio’s deputy campaign manager. He sent the tweet to Matt Schlapp, the chairman of the American Conservative Union.)

and now, (3.) Mitt Romney, quoted initially.

Cruz, the Rubio campaign, Mitt. . . hmmm
