Former GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney thinks "Donald Trump is a phony, a fraud" and that he's "playing the American public for suckers," according to prepared remarks provided by Romney to CNN.
According to the former Massachusetts governor, "the only serious policy proposals that deal with the broad range of national challenges we confront have come from Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and John Kasich."
Romney is expected to remark on some what-ifs about Trump becoming president. "His domestic policies would lead to recession. His foreign policies would make America and the world less safe. He has neither the temperament nor the judgment to be president," Romney is expected to say.
Romney will also touch on a "twisted example of evil trumping good: "Trump's claims that he admires Russian President Vladimir Putin while calling "George W. Bush a liar."

Yep, been reading it all over and I have to laugh at their idiocy. Partnering with Mitt is classic, so Cruzish ie. standing for nothing other than power and control.
I’ll have to go back to real life and steering clear of all this bull**** with Cruzers flinging silly insults yet feigning being above it all. Insufferable clods can’t see the forest for the trees.
Not a chance in he**
Grabbing for that brass ring motivates them - nevermind the state of the nation, it’s all about power and control.
To think I actually used to support Cruz - thankfully his character has been revealed over and over.
They are both phonies and frauds, though I would say Trump is a somewhat bigger phony and fraud in his persona and business life. As for their political lives, it’s a toss-up.
The nominee will be either Trump or Cruz. Cruz would never agree to someone not currently running to be the nominee.
Remember, Cruz is possibly hated more by the establishment than Trump. Trump does deals and is willing to negotiate. Cruz sticks to his conservative principles.
Not so sure of that. Don't think the speech was intended to convince Trump supporters to change their vote. More likely, it was aimed at undecided voters. Don't think an undecided voter will be more likely to vote for Trump, but might steer them to someone other than Trump.
Have a nice day.
#AlwaysTrump.
Don’t forget what Fat Boy did to Christine O’Donnell while she was giving her primary acceptance speech. On National TV no less.
Rove can go entertain himself!
You’re full of used food.
Yep.
How many times have I said Romney and his Mittens GO AWAY...unfortunately most of them support Trump now.
Yes I did forget that, thanks for reminding me about that disgrace.
What Conservative Principles?
He lies like a rug!
Apparently your comment is very telling.
