But with Republican primary voters this year seemingly hell-bent on jumping off the Trump cliff, I decided that casting my ballot for one of the non-Trumps in the primary would be a futile gesture.

Due to morons like this, Trump's win is nearly assured. If even the faithful believers who are opposed to Trump don't vote in their own primary, what's the point? Yeah, you struck a blow for character... you also failed to support a GOP candidate more to your liking. Well done.

Not really.
Trumps win is because the treachery, incompetence, and indolence of the Republican leadership, the “GOP-E.”
They have so discredited themselves and the Republican Party, that a pro-amnesty, pro-abortion, pro-single payer, pro-gun control, and pro-imminent domain Democrat can win over a huge portion of the Republican constituency by simply sounding tough.
