The thing about politicians and businesses, is that if you don’t get the politicians on your side, your competition will get them on his side, with the competitive goal of getting you at a regulatory disadvantage. This is why so many businesses are forced to pour millions into the political coffers, self preservation.

Politicians then use their loot to buy elections via name recognition, that is saturate the media with their name.

This is a vicious cycle. Trump knows what is going on, because that is the way things are done. Trump is about breaking this cycle. This is what upsets the Republican establishment.

So what you’re saying is if you want to be really, really rich, get yourself some hot wives, own some politicians, get invited to all the good parties, then you simply buy them, like you do the presidency. Sorry, I Know a lot of successful business people and none of them buy politicians.
