It wasn’t as strong a win as it could have been, or should have been from the perspective of Trump, IMO.
If you say we are going to win so much that you get sick of winning, that doesn’t leave a whole lot of room for losing.
On the flip side, I am seeing various opinions that what occurred last night does prevent other candidates from reaching the delegate math goal.
Here’s my assessment.
Trump is a stronger candidate than the others, but he isn’t as strong as he thinks.
I think the ideal ticket at this point to defeat Hellary is a Trump/ Cruz ticket.
I think the two compliment each other, and would unite the disaffected base in such a way that would win.
I don’t even know what to say about people who support Rubio, who I imagine are the remainder of the GOPE base. All I know is I don’t stand with them anymore.
I would go for a Trump/Cruz ticket although it should be the other way around but Trump is too much of a narcissist to settle for second.
But we can’t vote for Trump on that assumption. Even if he declared it as his intention, we can’t trust him.
We would need seven lawyers with seven mops to construct an iron clad contract and even then ...
I think you know you’re not.
If you or anyone stands for Rubio any longer, I recommend you stand with your back firmly planted against the wall!!
You’d think Carson’s would go more to Cruz.
Rubio’s voters are another matter, since you’ve got to figure a lot of them are moderate GOP, who don’t like Cruz or Trump.
A lot of them might go to Kasich. I know Kasich looks like a joke right now, but if he wins the Ohio primary (which Newt today on Hannity said he could), he becomes the GOPe’s great white hope.
It’s Disco! Not black music.
Hah!
Good advice.
That guy already stabbed me in the back after I voted for him to be my senator.
Now I see he might stick his knife in your back, or he might stick his p....
Er, wait a minute. AHEM!
Yes, he is not a trustworthy or upstanding sort of person.

I don’t think Trump would accept VP either. Though in terms of wins so far, he is at the top at this time.
But as far as not trusting him, he hasn’t demonstrated that he is a liar to me yet, as Rubio clearly has.
I voted for him to be FL senator, and he ran on the TEA Party platform. Clearly, he is not that.
So until Trump openly lies to me, I can’t call him a liar.
The GOP has lied to me repeatedly, over and over, every chance they get, so I am done with them. No more chances.
That is the primary reason I support Trump.
Wheels up in 30,get the go bag
Very well put.
I’m baffled and confused by the ferocity of the support for him.
But I’m equally furious with the Bill Kristol or Lindsey Graham types too. Damned superior, smug, holier-than-thou talkers. They don’t know America.
Perhaps Rubio has visited Lindseys “closet”! (I am only half-kidding! I think there is a bumper crop of “alternative lifestyle” gents in Congress!
It was disco but I’ve never heard it before. Let me know if you find out the name of that song please.
I think if Cruz endorsed Trump, it’d put Trump over the top. I’d like a Trump/Cruz ticket.
Otherwise, the key now is Ohio and Florida. I think Trump has to win both to go into the convention with a first-ballot majority.
And if he does win both Ohio and Florida yet doesn’t get a first-ballot majority, I think he gets the nomination anyway.
If Trump loses Ohio (I don’t see him losing Florida), I don’t know what happens.
I am not supporting a candidate because of statz - no conservative is
Hah! You may well be right.
Not that there’s anything wrong...
