Probably so. I have a Lincoln Navigator, a very similar vehicle. Thing’s built like a tank. Very hard to hurt myself in any collision if I’m wearing a seat belt. Also front and side air bags. OTOH, I could kill myself with it if I decided go disable the safety features and drive it at high speed into a stationary object.
