I wonder if the film (”Neerja”) will ever be shown here?

From what I found by searching it is already released and in wide distribution.

Thanks for posting. What an incredible hero and at such a young age. Can’t wait to see the movie.

I watch mostly Korean, and some Chinese and Japanese movies online, as well as some Indian movies. Generally speaking, they all make better movies than I see coming out of Hollywood. Especially Korea.

Amazon Prime I think has the best selection, also Netflix and YouTube (not always the greatest definition.)

Main thing is you have to get accustomed to subtitles, and I am very accustomed to it and use it for everything, whether in English or not.

For an introduction, google for a list of "Top Ten Asian Movies". Romance, comedy, action---they are just about the best. (And I am lifelong, elderly American)

Yes, I found it in my town. It’s gotten no publicity.

There are some good things. My sister likes some of the Korean dramas, but I’m more of a Bollywood person myself, the few times I watch these things.

Gee whiz. I wonder why that is?

Wow! And she was beautiful to boot. What a waste.

But I feel better knowing she was a victim of the Religion of Peace.

Neerja was a best of the best heroine. It's unfortunate that she had an untimely demise.
Thank you Marvin for the ping and thank you naturalman for this inspiring story.

I take heart in the fact that at the end, they will be on their knees to the muslim slime, as to the they are accustomed to...but won't know what's going on until the blade takes their heads

I just saw the movie, which turned out to be playing about 45 miles away from here. It was very good, very sad.

We have a fair number of Indians here (there are several hospitals and other medical institutions in Jacksonville) so I guess that’s why it showed here.

We were the only non-Indians in the theatre, but that was a pity, because it was a very touching movie. She was very smart and brave and she saved a number of Americans.
