The dirty leak achieved some of its aim. Trump’s main rivals, Sens. Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio, pounced on the Buzzfeed report and demanded that Trump release the tape. Cruz told a Texas crowd, “If you’re sitting in Manhattan telling The New York Times that you’re lying to the voters, the voters have a right to know.”
I take it Cruz supports New York values in this case?

Well, if I’m Trump this morning surveying his mini-landslide, coupled with Cruz’ inability to win the majority of the vote in his home state, and Boobio getting

Trump sat down with the NY Times and, apparently admitted he was scamming the voters and had no intention of doing what he was promising.
So, Ted Cruz has every right to say, “If you’re sitting in Manhattan telling The New York Times that you’re lying to the voters, the voters have a right to know.”
In fact, he would be remiss not to say it.
