When you compromise with evil, you get evil. Our country has been a relentless march towards Socialism since FDR because of compromise with Progressives.
Can we try saying no to evil at least once to see how that works? If we hold the House and actually use the power of the purse, with the right man in the White House I think that is possible.
Of course the next President will be they key in terms of using the bully-pulpit to dismantle the federal beast that has been constructed. I think Cruz is by far the best man to use the Presidential platform to make the case for Constitutional conservatism to the American people.

I know this falls on deaf ears around here but the fact remains, We are a Constitutional Republic that rests on the notion that the people’s Representatives in Government know how to compromise and negotiate.
This notion that Cruz will ride into DC and dictate his 100%er terms to everyone else there is simply wishful thinking.
