I knew that’s what you meant, and I agree.

I only pinged you the second time because I mentioned your name in the post.

The lifted quotes from posts are missing some quotation marks, i.e., after “win” and before “Shameless”.. then it might make sense to you, to wit:

“I heard Trump is asking that to allow Democrats and Independent liberals to vote in closed primaries so he can win.”

“Shameless liar.”

Yeah, the polls don’t reflect much advantage for Cruz in those closed states. Some but not much. It will be interesting, to say the least.

My only question would be is where would a GOP-chosen, last-minute candidate like Romney, find enough delegates after missing so many states?

Every delegate is bound to the candidate for only the very first ballot. Once that ballot is done, and there is no winner all the delegates are free to vote for the candidate of their choosing. That is why it is so important for cruz or Trump to get the necessary delegates during the primary process. If Trump or Cruz do not win in the first round it will be brokered so another worthless leftist is picked.

Romney has been thrust into the news cycle recently and rumblings from the RNC are if Rubio looses Florida he will be coerced to back out and Romney will then run. McConnel said, about two or three days ago, that they want to siphon off enough delegates so there will be no first round winner, than they will install another candidate to run in the General Election and he also said they don't care if Hillary wins.

This whole thing is set up to ensure a real conservative or a game changer will not become the Republican candidate and that the status quo remains. They want the slide into Socialism/Communism because they want to be the people who rule.

I noticed Carson last night. He was speaking with his eyes closed.

He does a lot of that doesn't he. It's weird.

You said American. You were ambiguous. Trump falls under your loose definition. I believe that was purposeful to project bias at Cruz.

American is a common term used for Citizen of the United States of America. Both of Donald Trump’s parents were Citizens of the United States when he was born. That makes Donald Trump a natural born citizen as was commonly understood when the Constitution of the United States of America was written.

The clause: “or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution” was added to the Constitution because none of the founding Fathers had parents who were Citizens of the United States of America.

Let me ask you these questionS in response: Are we dealing with the same Democrat Party Reagan did in the 80’s? Is there anyone in the Democrat Party today who is 75-80% on the side of Constitutional Conservatives? We both know the answer to that, which is why I don’t want to send anyone to Washington signalling that they are ready to compromise before discussions have even started.

"True, Cruz was supposed to dominate the south 6 weeks ago. There isn’t anyone that thought that lately, including Cruz. The fact is, it’s not about the states. It’s about the delegates, and Trump under performed. He will end up winning 17-19 delegates more than Cruz did last night."

Cruz was supposed to get more delegates in the South than Trump. He didn't. This is Cruz under performing and no amount of verbal gymnastics changes this. Cruz is in trouble. Reality is a tough old place to live.
