I disagree I think this is exactly who he chooses. Only thing that makes sense not a fan of his but if he gets Trump the white house who cares vp don’t do anything anyway

Exactly! Nobody has asked him to be anybody running mate, yet he felt the need to preemptively decline an invite to join a ticket.
