Fox News has broken its own record that stood since the Iraq War. The channel has been the most-watched basic cable network for the past six weeks, which hasnt happened since March/April 2003, at the start of the Iraq War. In prime time, FNC was up +22 percent in viewers and up +24 percent in the A25-54 demo. In total day viewing, FNC was up +20 percent and up +16 percent, respectively.
The ratings for February, 2016 (Nielsen Live + Same Day data):
Prime time (Mon-Sun): 2,220,000 total viewers / 427,000 A25-54
Total Day (Mon-Sun): 1,340,000 total viewers / 263,000 A25-54
Like its cable news competitors, the 2016 primaries have also been good to Fox News. But unlike CNN and MSNBC, FNC did not have the advantage of a primary debate in February. (That changes this week.) Hannity, which had multiple interviews with GOP candidates last month, showed the most growth: up +33 percent in both viewers and the demo. The OReilly Factor remains cable newss No. 1 show, up +8 percent. The Kelly File (up +9 percent) follows, with Special Report with Bret Baier in third place. This was Baiers most-watched month in the demo since November 2013.
GLENN BECK??? "conservative intellectual"? That's insane. Some of the others are questionable, highly questionable, to be called "intellectuals", but Glenn Beck? That's a joke. Who wrote that paragraph, someone at Breitbart? How'd that get past an editor?
That's a freaking joke. That's like calling Howard Stern an intellectual.
I call bs on these "ratings." There's too many people like me, average people, Fox viewers, who quit them because of what they've become.
If I want liberals bias, I'll tune in to CNN. If I want anti-Trump derangement syndrome and full-on globalist open borders/TPP/open immigration/jobs exported to Mexico---I'll go to a Cruzer thread on FR.
They’re probably gaining liberal democrat viewers since CNN is going more mainstream.
What I don’t understand is some Cruz supporters crowing about the “success” of Fox. Fox doesn’t like Cruz much more than Trump. They’re all in for Rubio and the Establishment.
This thread just proves that there are GOPe establishment stooges on FR.
This idea that Fox News is hostile to Donald Trump is one of those memes that has no basis in fact. FNC, as well as the other media, gives Trump much more publicity than the other candidates. FNC’s star, Bill O’Reilly, is a close personal friend of Trump’s.

LOL
