So I've seen this smear quite a bit lately. I'm not a Rubio supporter but I know he is quite open about his Christianity. I have 2 concerns about this story:
1. There seems to be a lot of assuming going on. According to what I've read he was in a park known for homosexual activity but such activity isn't in the police report, just speculation by his political enemies about the activity.
2. I read he was 18 when this happened, was he a Christian then or did he convert later? IF (a big assumption) he engaged in sexual immorality before his conversion and left that lifestyle behind (as evidenced by his wife and kids), God has forgiven him, who am I to hold it against him?

Interesting that the Trump fanboys don't think anything Trump has said past 15 minutes ago matters but an allegation of something from age 18 with no other evidence since disqualifies Rubio.

I'm not a Rubio supporter; I just don't think this sort of allegation is fair to any candidate.

I’m not a Rubio fan either, but I think this story is bogus beginning to end. None of the original sources back it up. The park was known as a place where hookers (straight and gay) hung out, and where kids came to buy drugs; plenty of non-gay, if semi-legal, activity going on there.

Same with foam parties — probably more likely to be held by straights than by gays.

Whether Rubio is still buddies with the guy who was with him in the park I dunno, but one version of the story tries to argue that they’re gay based on the fact that the other guy rented some property to gay tenants twenty or thirty years after they got in trouble in the park.

I have no idea if Rubio is gay or not, but the evidence I’ve seen offered thus far is laughable.

People who bring their religion into the political arena invariably have a whole lot they are trying to hide, and as with Cruz and Rubio, it still oozes out through cracks in the façade. Both of these frauds are downright creepy.

Most voters are not falling for their slimy snake-oil sales pitches.
