90% of German cuisine is pork-based (ok, a bit of an exaggeration). The stuff that isn’t is cabbage-based, and most German food is not complexly spiced to a Middle-Eastern palate. The “terrible food” complaint is probably fairly accurate from a refugee perspective. It’s an ungrateful attitude, but not invalid.

“an ungrateful attitude”

I’ll go along with that one. Got a lot of that here too IMO.

Germany is like the US in that you can find cuisine from around the world nearly everywhere, including more than enough middle eastern restaurants. This douchebag just expected everything to be free.

The day I was informed that Weiner schnitzel did not contain weiners it was like a punch in the gut.

Talk about a surprise - a yummy, pork-based surprise.

If German based food is considered offensive, I wonder how they would have relished British cuisine? <;^)
