I’ve seen some episodes of “The Middle”, and it disgusts me how poverty for a family with two incomes is “normalized” (and they eat too much take-out for a “poor” family). There is never any discussion as to why the economy is in the tank; it is just “there”.

She is a good actress, and as conservative as one can be in Hollywood and still get roles.
