"Serial adultery" by Donald Trump is just one of the reasons why U.S. Rep. Mo Brooks, R-Huntsville, said Monday he would never publicly endorse the GOP front-runner if he goes on to win the Republican nomination for president.
"That is one of hundreds of things that are disconcerting about Donald Trump," Brooks, who endorsed Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, told AL.com. "If the voters knew Donald Trump's background, what he intends to do as president, I am very confident you would have a mass exodus from Donald Trump's support base. And it might be his gutter-mouth tendencies. I don't want in the White House someone who in front of little children on national television uses the kind of profanity that Donald Trump uses."
Trump had cheated on his first wife, Ivana Trump, with actress Marla Maples, and then eventually divorced his wife for Maples. The businessman has also bragged about sleeping with married women in his book, "Trump: The Art of the Comeback."

That’s why TRUMP is winning the majority of evangelicals....LOL
My biggest fear with Trump is he may not beat Hillary. The press can be very mean and partisan. The are keeping all they have on him till after he is the nominee. They love Hillary. She will not be indicted she will not debate and the media will defend her. Nothing bad about Hillary will ever get legs. We will lose the Supreme Court. Fox News is terrible in regard to Cruz. They ignore him except when they have a negative story, or something that will hurt him.
Thank you. A strong reminder that Rubio is not to be trusted.
You should send Cankles a card letting her know your plans for the fall election. She might send you a thank-you note for supporting her.
Did you stay home in 2012 as well?
Why is it that only those on FR can find so much delicious dirt and those whose livelihoods as career politicians come up with crap or other false memes?
Ironic how Trump seems to have less baggage than so many other politicians - on either side - and we try to trash him with full knowledge that to do so greatly increases the chances that Hillary or Bernie will end up in the WH - some idiots call that "their principles".
In Donald Chump's case, it's the Republican Hillary anyway as he supported her, so what difference does it make.
Thus he gives Cruz supporters the impression that he would support Cruz. Let him put forward who he is FOR, rather than who he is AGAINST, and WHY he thinks that candidate will do better.
Hope you have a very happy Super Tuesday & I’m sure Cankles will thank you somehow come the fall for not voting in the fall. Progressives usually do that by raising taxes & hacking at our 2nd Amendment righst, but hey. You will have stood for nothing.
Rock on! Peace :)
Everyone has to make a choice.
My apologies for insulting Congressman Mo Brooks. My ignorance and emotion got in the way. Thanks for setting me straight.
But does anyone listen to the press besides liberals?
I personally have not watched TV news for about 10 years, unless it was local and a tornado was bearing down!
No harm, no foul. Discussions make the world go round.
I wouldn’t mind hearing that either, but I don’t mind him stating his reasons for not supporting Trump.
They do - it seems ironic that many on our side seem to think that not voting for a flawed but averagely decent man, and letting true Evil in to take our once Great Nation down the tubes in spectacular fashion, is a sane choice - just sayin'.
I wonder when it’s all said and done if we actually have a choice. It seems like the powers that be more so control the outcomes.
In God's world, the only real choice we have is of the personal nature - we often end up living under the results of other's choices due to power structures.
All we can do is look into ourselves and make the choice that seems best under our interpretations of His will for us - for me, that's supporting the least evil choice in an attempt to not allow the most evil one to prevail. For others, it's not supporting anyone with any perceived flaws even if it means the most evil choice steps in.
Who among us can say which is more withing God's will?
Thoughtful post, thank you.
