I’ll take a chance on the self made billionaire who claims to love America’s free market system over anyone else at this point.

Your graphic sucks by the way. I’m surprised to left Trump’s wife in the shot.

Steaming pantload. That list in his wedding photo. Tell me that even 20 years ago any of that true about the GOP, As for Trump dodging a draft, there is far more evidence that Cheney was a draft dodger. He even said he had better things to do. This is the same for almost every GOP congressfool and senator in the 90s. Gingrich used deferments. Romney was a missionary deferment.
GOP never tolerated adultery? Are you stoned?

That was a real laugher. But nice try.

PS, I hope you’re going to be ok tomorrow.

I understand why. It’s because they are stupid and live in the past. They are the “get off my lawn” type of conservatives who would let the world burn before they’d give up one of their 1988-style worldviews.

Any Republican could have beaten Trump back in August, if they had been man enough to do it. But, they all sat back and waited for him to self-destruct, as their handlers told them he would. The handlers were wrong and the candidates’ instincts were wrong. If they couldn’t detect the anger in the GOP base, then how clueless would they be as president?

Obama has been hugely effective at getting his agenda shoved down the throats of the American people because political handlers underestimate him, we try to pretend that he’s incompetent, and he talks to his base.

This is 2016. That’s what works in the USA today. It wouldn’t have worked in 1988 and hopefully it won’t work in 2032, but right now, it is what works and Trump knows how to work it.

Your guy isn’t being beaten. He gave up 5 months ago and thought he’d cruise to an easy win and took too long to get in the game. Five months ago, he was my guy too and when Trump started talking, I’d yell at the TV for someone else to jump up and be the better communicator with the better ideas and to understand what makes us mad as hell. He failed. He kept mumbling and whining, pretending that his God Cred would propel him to the WH. Somewhere between August and now, he became the Baptist Mitt Romney—a guy who thought he deserved it and didn’t want to ruffle his dress by fighting for it.

Lying, adulterous, draft-dodger? You mean Limbaugh? Can’t be, you didn’t say “drug addict”.

I do agree that we did condemn Clinton’s behavior. It, he, was reprehensible. Now, with Trump being opposed by two, who I don’t believe are qualified to run for president, I don’t have a choice. I feel Mr. Trump is the lesser of the evils that we have so become accustomed. He is not a dreaded politician and I find that a plus.

I feel betrayed by my Party, my Congressional leaders, and now by those who say they won’t vote for Trump if he is the Primary winner. Isn’t that a vote for his opponent?

Where are the patriots, the ones who love their country enough to try to keep the Democrats from further destroying America?

I’m not here to defend Trump especially — as he has his flaws...

But the flaw in the logic in the cartoon you posted is that Slick Willie was accused in the Paula Jones Sexual Harassment case and committed blatant perjury because Monica Lewinsky.

Trump was not the President if/when he committed adultery and did not lie about it in court in a sexual harassment case like Slick did.

Slick Willie is exceptionally dishonest and a slimy character. Trump on the other hand may be exceptionally blunt about everything but he is not a sneaky snake like Slick Willie.

Big difference...

As for the “draft dodger” allegation, that’s probably a bit of an overstatement. And using the term “draft dodger” in this case is meant to characterize Trump as a “coward.”

But would you fault ANYONE for not wanting to fight a useless war that has nothing to do with protecting the USA? I was the last year of the draft lottery in Vietnam and had a high number, but no way would I have gone to Vietnam if I were chosen. But if I were drafted to protect our country against Muzzies, count me in!

Here’s info about Trump’s “draft dodging”

http://www.politifact.com/punditfact/article/2015/jul/21/was-trump-draft-dodger/

—In the course of the Vietnam War, about 15.4 million men received deferments, were exempted or disqualified. In contrast to those millions, the government charged 210,000 people with draft violations, ranging from burning their draft cards to refusing to serve to fleeing the country.

Yes, after 2 years of NORMAL student deferments, he had a medical issue. Whether or not it was an exaggerated medical issue, I don’t care because sending our boys off to be killed in the Vietnam war was the wrong thing for the gov’t to do and if you truly believe in Liberty, you too would have protested that.

In other words, your cartoon is really a cheap shot at Trump.

So next time, think a little more deeply about the nuances in what you post.
