Solar activity has much more influence on the earth’s climate than anything else.

What is happening now is a cycle of fluctuating solar activity that runs in cycles of about 206 years. Every time solar activity and sunspots has diminished, earth has seen what is called a mini ice age and greatly increased tectonic activity. That means earthquakes and volcanoes.

During the last one, about 1810, the New Madrid fault running through Missouri and other states had one of the worst earthquakes in US history in 1811. A mini ice age related to lessened solar activity was the reason behind the extreme winters during Napoleon’s attempt to conquer Europe, also contributing to his failure and also widespread crop failures and famine.

If we don’t wake up very soon we;k see the wsame thing happen in our lifetime. We;re looking at 30 - 50 years of winters at least as harsh as the last 3 have been for the northeast. 2 years ago we had 3” snow on the ground for 3 days, maybe 4, unheard of in Texas. In 2013 Atlanta froze over for a week, thousands of cars stranded in the freeways, never happened before. Winter of 2014 several cities in the northeast had record snowfall...Boston, New York and others saw some of the heaviest snowfall in 100 years.

That’s only the beginning. Dark Winter, by John Casey, has a lot of good information,m and in the documentary he made he does a good job of plain English explanation.

I’ve seen it several times in Newsmax on cable, but not in the past month or two.

Global warming is a hoax, politicians trying to milk us for more tax money. That’s what Obama’s EPA regulations are all about. Al Gore is and was a liar, nothing he predicted actually happened, if hw was right, Miami and New York should both be underwater right now and the polar ice caps gone 2 years ago. So why did he own a mansion on the California coast, that a reporter eventually found out was not even remotely “green” and Gore was paying very high electric bills on the place...when he was found out he quickly tried to “green up” a little probably purely for optics.

And why are Obama and all the climate change fanatics flying all over the world in Air Force One and a multitude of private planes, all producing more “carbon footprint” in one trip than your car will in 2 years?

CO² is not a pollutant in the first place, it is REQUIRED for plants to grow. Plants take in CO² and emit oxygen.

I read an article a while back by a man who tried to replicate Al Gore’s experiment, putting atmospheric air in one jar and CO² in another, and placed under infrared lamps. (I think infrared, may have been ultraviolet, can’t remember) He tried every way he could think of, and the only difference he observed was in some cases the CO² was slightly cooler.

It’s all a hoax...the climate is changing, but that’s a natural occurrence. It’s been happening for billions of years. And it’s not getting hotter...it’s getting colder. THe past couple of winters are just the opening act.

I forgot...

Do some poking around. Google for Dalton minimum and Maunder minimum. Browse through this site

They seem to keep up with a lot of this info.

Are we causing a slight rise in local temperatures ?

YES. But it has nothing to do, as you say, with CO2.

The rise in temps is caused by HEAT. Man made HEAT.

Take two jars. Leave one empty, but an electric heater in the other and turn it on. Guess which jar gets hotter.

Every combustion engine and even electric motors generate tremendous amounts of HEAT. Every parking lot and highway is a giant heat sink. Every house, every building that has HEATING and AIR CONDITIONING generates HEAT. We are causing the temperature to rise, but it’s a darn good thing because warmer is better.

Now, can we cause the temperature to RISE so much it goes out of control ? No. Does the planet have the ability to to deal with the man made heat and dissipate it ? Yes.
