Even if that’s what he said though I heard it a bit different, Cruz is still siding with an amnesty lover over someone who has pledged to secure the border and deport. You can’t defend Cruz for that, it’s unconscionable.

IIRC he didn’t say “either”, he said “and”. Not sure if that means they’re a package deal or they’re the same thing so it doesn’t matter which.
