Conservative Radio: Limbaugh, Ingraham, Hannity and Levin Part of Gang-of-Eight “Gaslighting”…
The Conservative Treehouse ^ | February 28, 2016 | Sundance

Posted on 02/28/2016 1:17:09 PM PST by COUNTrecount

The New York Times has just laid virtually all of talk radio’s top conservative punditry naked to their enemies by revealing a coordinated effort, between them and top DC politicians, to “tamp-down” opposition to comprehensive immigration reform, and “gaslight” the national republican audience. A brutal expose’…

We already knew the aspect of Fox News via Rupert Murdoch, Roger Ailes, Sean Hannity and Bill O’Reilly meeting with Chuck Schumer, Lindsey Graham and Marco Rubio capturing promises to deliver favorable opinion for immigration reform. – Outlined HERE – We also knew, and wrote about how Fox Executives manipulated program content (including the blacklisting of amnesty critics) to support the collective agenda.

However, we did not know how far the scope of the influence was extended, nor did we know Rush Limbaugh was a direct participant. We also did not know that Laura Ingraham and Mark Levin were lobbied to participate.

How would we know? How would anyone know? They never told their audience.

None of the aforementioned pundits ever disclosed the nature or content of the lobbying, nor their own independent determination whether to go along with the agenda, or remain willfully blind thereby benefitting the legislative agenda by omission.

In hindsight we can only accept silence as willful blindness.

However, now we do know, many things make a lot more sense about how reactionary all the “conservative” pundits were, notably the Fox Group, when candidate Donald Trump announced his immigration platform to include a border wall, deportation and strict enforcement of immigration law. Now we know why most pundits reacted with such disdain.

I’ve been sitting back listening to his show the past several weeks feeling like I’m in the Twilight Zone, with Rush whitewashing Rubio’s joining Schumer, Durbin and McCain in the Gang of Eight which would’ve destroyed our nation.

I wonder how Rush is going to try and spin this?

I KNOW....twilight zone is right. Used to love Rush, now not so much. The lid has come off DC’s can of worms! What a year this is going to be!

BS! More Moonlighting that Trump cannot win!

Political science professor forecasts Trump as general election winner

The Statesman | February 23, 2016 | Christopher Cameron

A professor of political science at Stony Brook University has forecasted that Donald Trump has a minimum 97 percent chance of winning the general election as the Republican nominee.

Professor Helmut Norpoth’s forecast presentation took place Monday evening in the SUNY Global Center in Manhattan, which was organized by the Stony Brook Alumni Association.

Norpoth created a statistical model of presidential elections that uses a candidate’s performance in their party’s primary and patterns in the electoral cycle as predictors of the presidential vote in the general election.

Donald Trump has a 97 percent chance of defeating Hillary Clinton and a 99 percent chance of defeating Bernie Sanders in the general election, according to Norpoth’s formula.

The bottom line is that the primary model, using also the cyclical movement, makes it almost certain that Donald Trump will be the next president, Norpoth said, if he’s a nominee of the [Republican] party.

Norpoth’s primary model works for every presidential election since 1912, with the notable exception of the 1960 election. These results give the model an accuracy of 96.1 percent.

“You have to assume that Christie figures that Trump is gonna be the nominee. Right? And then you have to figure Christie wants a job. I mean, he’d love to be in the regime, the Trump regime, maybe VP, maybe attorney general.” (end quote)

Trump REGIME? Do you need any more evidence how deep and wide the assault on trump really is when a man of Rush’s former conservative caliber joins the ‘the great right wing conspiracy’?

I wonder how many are thinking Guest Hosts Monday?

It will be interesting indeed! I hadn’t thought about Rush having a guest host tomorrow, but if he does, we’ll know why.

Everything is making sense now.

When did left become right and down up?

When you want something impossible so badly, you will begin to convince yourself that what you want to be real is in fact real. Then, every piece of information that might support your self-delusion becomes unassailable proof, and every piece against it becomes lies and conspiracy. Look up the behavior in scientologists or cults. Seriously. People who yearn for a savior right now will always find a reason to believe they have found him...

“What on earth is this trying to say? I listened to rush during this time and he was against the gang of 8!”

Are you feeling ... disoriented?

Gaslighting or gas-lighting is a form of mental abuse in which information is twisted or spun, selectively omitted to favor the abuser, or false information is presented with the intent of making victims doubt their own memory, perception, and sanity.
Instances may range simply from the denial by an abuser that previous abusive incidents ever occurred, up to the staging of bizarre events by the abuser with the intention of disorienting the victim.

Your posts, choices of words and syntax are very similar to TPB, the foreign agent, who got zapped/zotted yesterday.

You gaslight in every post/reply like he did with the same bs noted above.

I disagree. Rush has admitted on his show that he had been approached about the Gang of 8 bill and offered to get behind it 100% provided it excluded voting rights.

Before TPB got zotted I told him that he was not like us.

Little did I realize how much he was not like those of us who what America to succeed.

>> Conservative Treehouse is more and more looking like treehouse screwballs to me <<

CTH and its entrepreneur “Sundance” are well-known for mixing really nutty stuff with actual facts. Can be sorta deceptive. There was a full thread about ‘em a few days ago on FR.

Also, they are known for sensational headlines that the underlying articles often don’t support. Usually best to skip them entirely.

(But once President Trump “opens up” the libel laws, I guess CTH will get shut down.)
